Story: Bryan, Walt, and Quinn are the hosts of a podcast called "Tell 'Em Steve-Dave", airing from Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash in Red Bank, NJ. Each week they travel to the store to discuss their worldviews, life stories, and radical notions. First traveling to a local flea market to discover the secret to success, the trio travels over a landscape littered with hot-button topics, seeking to get to the bottom of post office dis-customer service, the Grandfather paradox and time travel, as well as divulging their innermost secrets on a created gameshow. A great movie for fans of the "Tell em Steve Dave" pod-cast. You don'thave to be a Kevin Smith fan to enjoy this movie. Very funny and thepuppet work is amazing. The puppets, lighting and attention to deal areall outstanding. Throne should win some kind of award. Love Bry, Walt,Q, Ming and Sunday Jeff. I gave money to the kick starter and cant waitfor the DVD. I hope they started selling the DVD so they can make moremoney and newer fans can watch it and discover just how amazing thismovie was. The commentary is also great and very very funny. I hopethey do another movie, Maybe "Tell em Steve Dave Puppet theater 2 : Therevenge of Ming." one. Ten out of Ten.

Based on one of the best pod cast out there "Tell 'em Steve Dave", thisis just an awesome way to relive with images some of the best moments(with awesome guests, including Sunday Jeff that is just as amazing asa marionette as you would imagine him from the podcast). If thesemoments were already funny, they are made even better and morememorable with images attached to them. The puppets are so greatlyhandled and the attention to detail and technical work is justoutstanding. Thorne was able to capture all the vibe and feeling fromthe audio bits, in the way better than you would imagine it. And greatkudos to all the team too. Be sure to catch the commentary version thatis also very enjoyable and full of laughs. There are so many moreunforgettable moments, I would love it if this was not the last one.There's never enough TESD puppets in your life!

I cannot express the amount of anticipation I had for TESD PuppetTheater. And it with such anticipation the ease of a letdown wouldalmost seem inevitable. Incorrect! This lived up to everything I mighthave expected. You will never forget the words "One, True, Three."Obviously I'm a big fan of the pod-cast "Tell 'em Steve Dave" so myreview is going to be biased, but I just love this project. I stillhaven't heard the commentary, but it will only make the DVD that muchmore special. My wife watched this with me, and she has only heard afew episodes of the pod, but she does watch Comic Book Men, and sheloved it also.
